Google Webmaster Tools,

Carlene and I have now settled into our new home, and have spent some time working in the garden.   (As well as seeking means to fix our fence so our dogs, Max and Moo, cannot escape... again!)

I have just completed our Tax for the 2011-2 Tax Year, and have had to make some tough calls: John Dixon, Air Hawk and the Flying Doctor did not make a profit over the past year (only 350 books have found homes, with 650 copies still in our garage).   Should Comicoz continue as a business, or should I consider making it a hobby?   Something my Tax Agent has asked me to think about.

It sometimes takes something serious to happen to reflect on what is really important and what is not.   Recently, Carlene has been experiencing chest pains that required investigating, and yesterday had to undergo an angiogram.   She was lucky to be given the all clear (although that does not explain the source of the chest pains).

John Dixon continues to be in ‘OK’ health.   His wife Sue has recently sent us this update.   I trust they will not object to my sharing this with his many Fans:

John is doing OK and the Lewy Body Disease has progressed more these past few months than in the first years.
I think I first noticed a change in him about 8 years ago.  I erroneously thought it was old age.  Later I found out that dementia is not a normal part of aging.  He still has a sense of humor and we enjoy eating out and going to the movies.  I feel fortunate that he still recognizes everyone.

Warm regards,
Sue and John
